Mia found her feelings being influenced by every thought. She held every thought captive which ignited a transformation to see clearly the words of God and of the enemy. Through God's strategy Mia developed self-control.
Our feelings may be influenced by many things or the feeling could come upon you for no apparent reason. One thing I know for sure is that we talk about how we feel more than just about anything else. We are living in a time where the phrase “I’m in my feelings” is often used. Get out your feelings because it is one of the most dangerous places to be. It blocks strategy and limits God’s power.
We must think correctly and Hold every thought captive.
As it is written,” casting down arguments and every high thing that exalts itself against the knowledge of God, bringing every thought into captivity to the obedience of Christ” - 2 Corinthians 10:5
Consider this daily situation where I would have the opportunity to take my thoughts captive: I am walking down Melrose Avenue in West Hollywood passing all the luxury clothing shops, and negative, disqualifying thoughts about my finances come into my head. At this moment, I have a chance of doing something about these thoughts before they enter my heart, become a part of me, and cause me to feel poor. It is these type of thoughts that we need to take captive of by instead choosing to obey the word of God such as “but seek first the kingdom of God and his righteousness, and all these things shall be added to you” - Matthew 6:33
I have been holding my thoughts captive for a while now and it becomes so clear the thoughts that are not of God. I can solve any problem, overcome any situation, achieve any goal, through the right thoughts, feelings, and beliefs. What we think, feel, and believe will manifest…. every single time.
