Mia simply sat and reflected on her journey in 2019. Through the fire (struggle), water (baptism), and growth (process), she realized that God revealed her true identity.
The real reason I was able to seek God and become aware of my wilderness experience was that I was made resilient. Through God's love and guidance, I was able to identify myself as the queen of the wilderness. Through every difficult condition I will withstand or quickly bounce back. It is who I’ve always been.
The reason I wake up with joy after no sleep… resilience.
The reason I survived through financial hardships… resilience.
The reason I maintained high hopes through anxiety, loneliness, and pressure… resilience.
God installed this type of resilience into all of us but we have to have the correct state of mind to activate it.
Paul, in the bible, had incredible resilience!
As it is written, “ Then Jews from Antioch and Iconium came there; and having persuaded the multitudes, they stoned Paul and dragged him out of the city, supposing him to be dead. However, when the disciples gathered around him, he rose up and went into the city. And the next day he departed with Barnabas to Derbe.” Acts 14:19-20 NKJV
WHEN HIS ENEMIES LEFT, PAUL SIMPLY GOT UP AND KEPT IT MOVING.
Becoming resilient does not mean we do not care or we are not affected by the things in our life. It means we will have the ability to suffer greatly and continue forward.
Here are a few ways that we can display resilience:
In those moments of rejection see that they serve as times of reflection, direction, and protection.
When an opportunity to be resilient presents itself the key is not to bounce back the same. When we get back in our bag we should be different - better, wiser, stronger.
See purpose in all things.
Self Care, returning to our normal life after facing struggle is what forces the enemy to flee!
